IGSA 2023 Spring Registration is Open!

PlayMetrics — New this Spring

  • We have transitioned our Registration to a new platform — PlayMetrics
  • One Stop Hub:  In addition to registration, this system will also administer all individual player profiles, team pages, league and team chats & communications as well as publish schedules, track attendance, allow access to league documents, form submissions, amongst other features
  • For your initial registration, you will be asked to upload a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate or another government issued identification document (if do not have a birth certificate).  This should be a one time process
  • Initial Setup:
    1. Create a Login and Password for your account
    2. Create a Player Profile for each Player/Child
    3. Register for the season
      • Registration is a separate process from creating a Player Profile
      • Go to Club Programs/Click Register
      • If registering multiple siblings, click on both and register them at the same time to receive sibling discount
  • Family Contacts
    • Once the Registering Parent has set up an account and registered, that person will then be able to add Family Contacts and send an invite to register additional accounts
    • These additional contacts will be able to view the Player Profile and Team Page/Schedule for your daughter and her team
    • These additional contacts will also receive updates when a group notification is sent
  • This platform is also very mobile friendly — Please download the App on your mobile devices
  • Once registered, Go to Account/Settings (bottom left on desktop) and update your “Communication Preferences” and enable “Push Mode” on your mobile device
  • Subsequent Registrations will be pushed directly to your Player Contact Page under Club Programs

  • If you are agnostic to which helmet/bag your daughter uses, are looking for a holiday/birthday gift or may try to participate at the competitive level (All-Stars/Select), we would recommend purchasing a league sanctioned helmet and bag
  • It is NOT mandatory for REC players to purchase a League Sanctioned Softball Helmet or Bag. You DO NOT have to purchase one of these helmets or bags to participate in the Spring or Fall Rec seasons
  • All-Star/Select players WILL be required to purchase a league sanctioned helmet and bag in addition to other competitive level fees
  • Due to inventory scarcity, 2023 Spring Select Players will not be required to have a league sanctioned helmet (although recommended). All-star players will be required to have these helmets for the summer.

  • Matte White Helmet (No Gloss)
  • NO color of any kind
  • Any manufacturer is acceptable (Evoshield, RipIt, Mizuno, etc.)
  • Preferably with a dark facemask (black/navy/gray)
  • Preferably without a manufacturer logo on the front
  • With these new helmets, the league will design and purchase a sticker package that can be placed on each helmet based on the season that will include the IGSA logo and numbers with possibly additional items
  • In addition, each coach will receive small custom stickers to be handed out to players as rewards after each game that can remain on the helmet regardless of season

  • You may choose between any one of the 4 styles listed below (including the catcher’s or XL version) that best fit your needs.
  • Options to personalize will be available.
