AGE/DIVISIONS

  • 6U: Birthdays between 1/1/2016 and 6/30/2018
  • 8U: Birthdays between 1/1/2014 and 12/31/2015
  • 10U: Birthdays between 1/1/2012 and 12/31/2013
  • 12U: Birthdays between 1/1/2010 and 12/31/2011
  • 14U: Birthdays between 1/1/2008 and 12/31/2009

LEAGUE SANCTIONED SOFTBALL BAG

  • NEW FOR THIS SPRING!
  • It is NOT mandatory for REC players to purchase a League Sanctioned Softball Bag. You DO NOT have to purchase one of these bags to participate in the Spring or Fall Rec seasons.
  • All-Star/Select players WILL be required to purchase a league sanctioned bag in addition to other competitive level fees.
  • You may choose between any one of the 4 styles listed below (including the catcher’s or XL version) that best fit your needs.
  • If you are agnostic to which bag your daughter uses, are looking for a holiday/birthday gift or may try to participate at the competitive level (All-Stars/Select), we would recommend purchasing a league sanctioned bag.
  • Options to personalize will be available.

Boombah Superpack Bat Bag — Backpack style (Recommended for 10U+)

Spring

  • Registration begins in late October/early November
  • Evaluations will be in mid-late January (10U, 12U & 14U; 8U possible)
  • Teams form following Evaluations and Draft
  • Practices (two nights/week in February; one night/week March-May) will begin at the end of January/early February
  • An additional cage time may occur on a different night during the week
  • 6U will only practice one night per week for the entire season
  • Games start on Opening Day, typically at the end of February
  • Weekend Games will be on Saturdays
  • 6U only plays Saturday games (no weeknight games)
  • 14U typically only plays Saturday doubleheaders against teams from southern OC
  • Weeknight Games will begin in early March (10U on Monday; 8U on Tuesday; 12U on Thursday)
  • Season will conclude in late April/early May
